Speaker: Lin Xiao, Research Fellow, Zhejiang University Hundred Talents Program
Venue: 716, Science Building, First Campus, Harbin Institute of Technology
Time: 15:30, November 5, 2025
Presenter: Lin Xiao, Research Fellow, School of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, Associate Editor, Journal of Applied Physics Reviews, APF, Member of China Optics Team. He is mainly engaged in the frontier research of free electron radiation micro-nano optics, that is, to explore the strange interaction and application of charged particles and artificial structural optical materials. He was selected into the first National Natural Science Program and won the first prize of Natural Science Award of Zhejiang Province in 2021 and the first prize of Natural Science Award of China Optical Engineering Society in 2024. He served as a member of the Young Scholars Working Committee of the Academic Committee of Zhejiang University and the deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Zhejiang University. As the first/corresponding author, he has published more than 60 papers in journals such as Nature Physics and Nature Materials. Among them, Superlight inverse Doppler effect papers were selected as the most popular papers in the field of Optics from Nature Physics 2005 to 2020.
